Gillian Anderson and Peter Morgan are dating, according to new reports from Page Six. The Hannibal and Crisis actress is not yet ready to make things official with the screenwriter, who is famous for working on movies like The Queen, Frost/Nixon, and Rush. Representatives for the two London residents have refused to comment on this story.
Morgan, 53, was married to Anna Carolina Schwarzenberg in 1997. The couple has five children together, but they separated in 2014. Anderson was married twice and also had a long-term relationship with Mark Griffiths, a businessman with whom she has two sons. The relationship started in 2006 and ended in 2012.
The 48-year-old actress had a daughter with her first husband, Clyde Klotz. Anderson wed Klotz in 1994, and they divorced in 1997. She was also married to documentary filmmaker Julian Ozanne from 2004 to 2006. The revelation about the new couple was put out by an insider. The person told the magazine:
“She was telling friends she’s dating the writer from The Crown.”
Morgan’s ex-wife was always open about the state of their marriage. She once wrote in a column:
“Peter . . . always says you can gauge the state of our marriage on the number of fish fingers he gets served . . . I served him the leftovers of the kids’ meal . . . He took one look and said: ‘I am neither 5 years old nor a f - - king penguin.’
“People come to our house . . . and they leave so happy not to be us.”
